If you what to pursue him if you have internal mail traffic with him (private mailing on pinkbike) Then you can track his ip and find out the exchange the he uses to connect to the intrenet after that you can ring up the exchange and they can pass the details of to the realivate partys (Police or Fraud Buero)

i did it for a friend when he was scammed £3300 for a turner dh bike. got all the money back and the person was arrested.

smaller circumstances but good luck anyways
